  • 2000: Kern begins a motorsports career after climbing behind the controls of a quad at Sandusky Speedway in Sandusky, Ohio. Her passion for motorsports was born from this venture.
  • 2001-2005: Continuing to compete in quad motocross racing, Kern compiled over 150 wins in four different divisions at eight different tracks. She established herself as a hometown hero and trendsetter for being a successful, winning female competitor in a male dominated sport.
  • 2006-2008: Having been a champion before her teen years, Kern moved to her next challenge, racing go-karts. The next three years, she continued her victorious ways winning over 200 events, eight different championships, including two Ohio national events, and dominating in eight different divisions. Kern competed throughout Ohio and Indiana.
  • 2009: Making her move to the bigger, more powerful modified series, Kern raced the full season at Sandusky Speedway and select events at Lorain County Speedway, both in Ohio. Kern won two feature races, one at Sandusky and one at Lorain County and earned 12 top-10 and 10 top-five finishes.Her season was highlighted by being invited by NASCAR to attend the NASCAR Drive for Diversity combine.
  • 2010: Beginning her next decade of racing, Kern made her biggest jump to date. In July she made NASCAR history when becoming the youngest female to race in a NASCAR-sanctioned development series event. Kern finished 20th in her NASCAR K&N East Series debut at the Lee USA Speedway in New Hampshire.Kern also competed in her first season with the USA Modified Touring Series. Travelling to tracks throughout Ohio, Indiana, Michigan and North Carolina, Kern was awarded Rookie of The Year after earning seven top-10 and five top-five finishes throughout her season.For the second consecutive season Kern was invited to the NASCAR Drive for Diversity combine.
  • 2011: In her first year running a late model throughout Ohio and Pennsylvania, Ali brought home the T.B.R.A. Touring Series CHAMPIONSHIP and Rookie-of-the-Year honors. Ali also competed in 2 NASCAR K&N Pro Series races.Ali was also invited to participate in the IMIS (International Motorsports Industry Show) “Hall of Champions” in Indianapolis, IN.
  • 2012: JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance 10th place overall finish.
  • 2013: ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS Rookie of the Year and Overall Runner-Up – Sportsman of the Year
  • 2014: ARCA/CRA 6th place overall. Received her 3rd invitation to the NASCAR Drive for Diversity Combine
  • 2015: After a successful NASCAR Combine, Ali was chosen to drive for Rev Racing in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East for 2016.
  • 2016: Finished P12 overall in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East standings.

The first female driver to compile 1 win and 2 Fast Qualifier awards in the ARCA/CRA Super Series 19 year history.
